Paleo Fish Tacos w/ Spicy Cabbage Slaw




Ingredients

For the Spicy Cabbage Slaw:
  •     10 ounces pre-shredded cabbage
  •     1/2 cup mayonnaise (I use my homemade mayonnaise .)
  •     1/4 cup pickled jalapeƱos, diced
  •     2 tablespoons minced onion (or more to taste)
  •     1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon or lime juice (plus more to taste if desired)
  •     1 tablespoon Sriacha, optional (or any hot sauce)
  •     2 teaspoons honey (or a few drops of liquid stevia)

For the Crispy Fish:
  •     1 pound white fish such as cod, cut into 1/2 inch thick pieces
  •     3/4 cup starch like arrowroot, potato, corn, or tapioca
  •     3/4 cup coconut flour or sweet rice flour
  •     2 teaspoons chili powder
  •     2 teaspoons garlic powder
  •     1 teaspoon sea salt
  •     Avocado oil for frying
